American Bar

On the sofas of the American Bar at Grand Hotel Menaggio, the day shifts its rhythm without ever changing its setting. In the morning, it is the place for the first coffee and for light gently entering through the lake-facing windows; later on, it becomes a pause in the indoor lounge or an informal snack to be enjoyed unhurriedly. At aperitivo hour, the atmosphere comes alive, while in the evening, when the water darkens and the lights dim, the bar returns to a more intimate elegance, perfect for an after-dinner cocktail.

Open from 10 am until midnight, the American Bar offers the great classics of international mixology alongside signature cocktails inspired by Lake Como, its landscapes, the herbs of the region and the flavours of the Lario. The selection of gins, both local and international, is joined by spirits, champagne, sparkling wines and still wines, with particular attention to local and Lombardy labels.

During the warmer months, service extends outdoors as well, bringing cocktails and snacks directly to the poolside. Piadine, sandwiches and pizza accompany the day through to evening, when themed aperitifs, music nights, sports screenings and special events take place.
